Bring your talent to this progressive, growing and stable organization! Our client is seeking structural engineers for highway and bridge applications in the DFW metro area.


Responsibilities:

Prepare and review structural plans, details, design calculations, specifications and cost estimates for highway and bridge projects

Structural analysis for pre-stressed concrete beams and steel girders for light rail bridge structures, post-tensioned pier cap design and drilled shaft pile foundation design.

Prepare plans and details utilizing MicroStation and other analysis software

Work independently or on project teams
Serve as Project Engineer on selected projects
May supervise other junior structural engineers, designers and CADD staff on projects




Requirements:

Bachelor`s Degree - Civil/Structural Engineering

PE registration

6-10 years experience in highway bridge design

Strong background in structural analysis and design

MicroStation experience required

Proficient in Staad, MDX, Conspan, PCA-Col, Group 6.0 and other software related to structural analysis

Ability to communicate with both internal staff and external clients
